Claude Desktop - Clickbase Docs

Claude Desktop is Anthropic’s desktop application for chatting with Claude. You can connect it to Clickbase’s MCP servers to query your analytics and manage your sites through conversation.

Prerequisites

Claude Desktop installed.
A Clickbase team with an active subscription — see Authentication.

Setup via Settings

In Claude Desktop, go to Settings > Connectors and click Add custom connector.
Enter the server URL — add the Reader for reporting, the Writer if the agent should also make changes:

Claude Desktop opens your browser to complete the OAuth authorization flow — sign in and approve access. See Connectors for the auth model.

Manual configuration

You can also configure the servers directly in claude_desktop_config.json:

Restart Claude Desktop to load the new configuration.

Verify it works

Start a new conversation and ask Claude to interact with your Clickbase account:

You should see Claude use the Clickbase Reader tools to fetch your site list.
